Farscape Steampunked

Chianna: "That's really creepy, you know"
Sikozu: "Just shut up and pass me my fingers will you".

The scene was designed to highlight their characters, most especially Sikozu's non-human traits, otherwise she would look too human in a pencil sketch. Here you see her utilising her ability to move her centre of gravity to allow her to crouch on the wall to fix a broken circuit in Moya (Leviathon know-it-all that she is ). However a loose gear cut off two of her fingers and she needs Chianna to pick them up so she can re-attach them. Chianna of course is just grossed out by this.

Sikozu's Outfit:
I tried to stay true to the show as much as possible. Sikozu has kept her red/bronze leather bikini (though I made it more of a bustier) and kirtle/skirt. I replaced her leather leggings with fishnets and kept the knee length boots, adding a heel. I topped it off with a cut off rib length grey Confederacy style coat and archetypal Steampunk goggles, as well as a tool belt that's just about hidden by her pose.

I played with the idea of making the coat full length but I don't think it would have hung properly in this scene so I left it short.

Chianna's Outfit:
Again I tried to stay true to the character. Chianna is an anti-authority figure, sensual, fun loving and rebelious, but street-smart and a survivor. Thus I dressed Chianna as a Saloon girl. To my mind she would love the long silky, puffy VaVa Voom dress, especially with cut away front showing off her legs and giving her freedom of movement, and the luminous pink edging and bow lacing up the front. This was accentuated with the almost tradional fishnets (hmmm... I'm sensing a theme here ) and large pink feather in her hair.
Of course, being Chianna she tops of the ensemble with a pistol worn openly on her hip.
And the voluminous fold of that VaVa Voom dress hold ample spaces to hide her lockpicks, a knife or two and any little trinkets she just happened to steal along the way.

Note: Sikozu's coat came from a Peacekeeper officer - I see the Peacekeepers as the Confederacy trying to hold out against empire-like Union of the Skaran.
